Overview
This guide outlines LUXY’s standard The three standard vehicle categories available for booking. Sedan: 2 passengers, 2 luggage. SUV: 3 passengers, 3 luggage. SUV XL: 5 passengers, 5 luggage., passenger and luggage capacities, and requirements for selecting the appropriate vehicle. It also explains how to request specialty transportation for large groups and events.
Standard Vehicle Classes
All vehicles are black-on-black, 5 years or newer, and must be approved by the LUXY Partner Care team before activation.

Passenger and Luggage Guidelines
Consider all passengers, child car seats, pets, luggage, and oversized items when selecting a vehicle.
Passengers
- Do not exceed the vehicle's maximum passenger capacity.
- Each A Trip Extra available for passengers who need a child safety seat. An additional fee applies when a child seat is requested through LUXY. Passengers may also bring their own child safety seat at no additional charge. Passengers are responsible for installing their own child seat and complying with applicable child safety laws. counts as one passenger.
- Passengers cannot ride in the front seat.
- For six or more passengers, request a large-capacity or specialty vehicle. See Submit a Custom Quote Request.
Luggage and Other Items
- Checked bags: Count each checked bag as one piece of luggage.
- Carry-ons: Bags and small personal items generally do not need to be counted unless they require trunk or cargo space.
- Oversized items: Golf clubs, skis, strollers, wheelchairs, and other oversized items require additional cargo space.
- Pets: Add A Trip Extra for passengers traveling with a pet for an additional fee. Pets must be secured in a kennel or carrier, with weight-based vehicle requirements. to the booking and account for any pet carriers or other items that require passenger or cargo space.
Luggage cannot be placed in the front passenger area. If you are unsure whether everything will fit, select the next vehicle size up.
Chauffeurs will assist passengers with loading and unloading their belongings.
If everyone and their belongings cannot fit safely and legally, the chauffeur may refuse to complete the trip. The original ride will still be charged, and the LUXY team will work to arrange a new ride as quickly as possible.
Large Events and Specialty Vehicles
For groups larger than a standard SUV XL (6+ passengers), LUXY offers a variety of Vehicles designed to accommodate groups of 6 or more passengers or provide specialized transportation, including Sprinter vans, minibuses, motor coaches, full-size coach buses, and stretch limousines. These vehicles require a custom quote coordinated by the LUXY Events team., including:
- Sprinter vans
- Motor-coaches
- Mini-coaches
- Full-size coach buses
- Stretch limos
